FUM Fuzz

Classic Fuzzes always had their issues. The FUM set out to solve two common complaints about them.

First off was they were too thin sounding. The FUM is a huge Fuzz/Distortion which retains enough clarity to allow it to palm mute with ease. I took the many variations of this well known circuit and tweaked it until the tone was huge, but retained clarity. I also changed the output stage of the pedal, giving it much more volume on tap than other versions.

Next was that they would get lost in the mix. The FUM solves this with the incorporation of a mid knob. This works in conjunction with the tone knob to allow the more recognizable scooped mid sound, up to a much more pronounced mid.

Like all PLX FX pedals, this pedal is a true bypass, so there is no coloration to your sound when it’s turned off. It utilizes a standard 9v 2.1mm power adapter and NO battery snap.
